[PLAYTEST] v2.6.7 Update

We are getting close to final changes! This update focuses on major bug fixes, improvements to the Firing Range, Bloodhound Town Takeover and a lot more!

Firing Range Rework

  • Added a third-person mode button.
  • Fixed and added moving targets.
  • Fixed and added folding targets.
  • Fixed incorrect dummy skins.
  • Removed original aim trainer elements.
  • Removed an unnecessary spark particle effect.
  • Fixed item column layout in the firing range.
  • Fixed broken attachments for red-tier weapons.
  • Added missing sniper ammo weapon rack.
  • Moved the heirloom-tier weapon rack to a new location.
  • Fixed missing weapons on dummies.
  • Fixed missing shield effects on dummies.
  • Starting weapon is now P2020 only, matching retail behavior.
  • Adjusted training dummie behavior to prevent unintended movement.
  • Firing range now uses a dedicated loot datatable.
  • Removed unusable items from the firing range (aka: bomb, etc).
  • Removed unused teleport buttons.
  • Charge tower now charges up really fast, matches retail behaviour.

Training Rework

  • Fixed game isn't registering inputs.
  • Fixed training skips challenges.
  • Fixed supply bins do not create custom loot.
  • Fixed missing weapon racks and targets.
  • Fixed dummies not healing with lifeline drones.
  • Fixed dummie deathbox spawn causes script crash.
  • Fixed training skips some Bloodhound voicelines.
  • Fixed missing rui panel on deathbox.
  • Added a new button to lobby for training.

Dev Note: Training is now should work properly

General Updates

  • Updated map images and lobby BIK videos.
  • New smoke grenade model.
  • Removed explosive ammo; Titanfall weapons are now red-tier and have their own custom icon.
  • Fixed Octane banner poses causing engine crash.
  • Fixed missing Revenant and Loba animations in Flowstate legend select screen.
  • Improved Miles language button, now supports more languages.
  • Removed Volt muzzle flash.
  • Added new music packs. Event music packs are now unlocked.
  • Added new tags.
  • Fixed rare cases where boxing gloves caused game crash or played wrong idle animations.
  • Fixed missing call for animation events

Dev Note: This fixes a lot of bugs related animations, you will see some improvements on weapons and legends animations, new particles, light effects, sounds and more. This is a really old R5Reloaded bug that got finally fixed. Here is some examples:

    • Missing Flyer sounds are now working again.
    • Wraith now correctly phases when using finishers.
    • Mirage now correctly cloak when using finishers.
  • Loba's passive ability added, but currently does not work on supply bins or through-wall pings.
  • Loba is activated again.
  • Improvements on shadows, they are now actually have shadow abilities.
  • Added a new revive animation for shadows.
  • Marksman weapons are now supported in the lobby.
  • G7 Scout and Triple Take is now marksman.
  • Added Depth of Field (DoF) to the weapon background.
  • Fixed an issue causing firing range assets to precache on every playlist.
  • Fixed missing CAR SMG icon.

Bloodhound Town Takeover Fixes

  • Fixed arena doors not auto-closing when open.
  • Fixed prowlers falling off the map.
  • Fixed broken loot layout.
  • Updated prowler behaviors.

Dev Note: Bloodhound TT is now fully fixed, please report any bugs you encounter!

Other Changes

  • General codebase and tooling improvements.
  • A lot of early in-development Season 0 legend abilities have been ported over. Make sure to try them out from the "Custom Abilities" section in the dev menu!
  • Hcog 1x skin has been reverted back to original.
  • Health bars have been removed from practice movement maps.
